I just realized, if your desperate, the bison horn talisman can work for a powder horn.
A bear skin cloak would be sick. Specifically the bloody one that Jon the trapper wears. Also some fringed shirts and pants. And maybe some misc. items that do nothing but look cool. Like a powder horn you could buy from the general store or a belt with fox pelts you could buy from the trapper.
Do you know why we don't have any of that? It's because of money. They don't give two shits about story mode, unless it's patching glitches.

Player camps look like my most recent dump. I wish we could have camps like the npc ones. I wish we could set up camps with tents made of sticks and leaves. Of course, you can take over an npc camp if your desperate.
One time I set Charles on fire to skip rowing to butcher's creek. He burned for a good 30 seconds before dying. Absolute chad.
Arthur was in the Blackwater Massacare, unlike John. They probably would've hunted Arthur until he was dead, and John could get killed for helping Arthur.
Also he would've died from tb way before 1907.
One time I got the gold bar at Limpany as both Arthur and John if you need 500 dollars.
My Last Boy is amazing, but A Quite Time is really fun.

At least we have animal skin saddles. You don't see other npcs with those. Mistake me if I'm wrong but I don't think any other npcs have animal skin saddles.
