When starting the game, nearby the trapper up north, you may encounter a man robbing a stagecoach with two dead people, I decided to avenge them and beat that buffoon. When he got knocked to the ground, I decided to pick up his revolver, and to my surprise: It was one you could keep! (As it had the spade symbol on it)
I love how we are still making small discoveries after a year.
I know this is a really old post, but how did you get a picture of him during the duel? You should also try it with Flaco Hernandez diving

Update: after disarming him but shooting him in the leg, I ran and got my horse and ran away (but not far enough to fail the mission) Flaco is on a horse again, but this time a different one, it seems if you try and get on your horse and go away far enough, Flaco will find a randomly generated horse and use it to persue you (which can lead to a badass gunslinger on horseback shootout)
I didn't know this, but I was messing around replaying Flaco's mission to look for astonishing secrets, and catch this: I shot him in the leg during the duel, not to disarm him, but to get him not to kill me and let him keep his revolver, and like the idiot I was I pretended to be in an old west movie and miss all my shots, (to make the gunfight last longer) and I whistle to get my horse to swap out to a cattlemen revolver and guess what!? I saw Flaco riding a brown horse while shooting at me! Has this happened to any of you guys? Or is it just me? I want to confirm this since this can be a cool addition to the wiki

Question though: If this is only for John, but if this can work in Online, this would mean the the riverboat would work in 1898, when RDO is set but not in 1899, when you play as Arthur, but somehow start working again in 1907 as John?
