The reason US gangs have diminished is

because of the cartels and law enforcement . The cartels run them out or all the gangs have transitioned into cartel related gangs. They also have the US law enforcement & military to deal with.

Like the person above said, theyd get blown to bits or what I am saying is the Gang would actually just be cartel, being more defined by their sub-gang within the cartel.

Its just a standard view because people take on the hat/perspective of the director/filmmaking/storymaking. That's the perspective that is conveyed with the creative medium used in the game. Thats the perspective of Arthur who is the viewer/player.

Its also just a standard to look down on anyone who abandons or betrays a group. No matter the side.

But yes objectively Micah could be seen as a good guy because he did help the law catch criminals who tried to rob a bank. You could have deeper conversations on his intentions and if it was rooted in being a good guy or just getting back.

I don't think it has to do with peoples inability to think, but just absorbed by the medium and perspective that Rockstar delivered.
