It'll revert to the auto save created upon cheat activation. You're fine to have fun. There's also a glitch at a certain point in the game in which an auto save is forced regardless of cheat activation. So you can technically make all your money, and have it save anyway, and then keep said money once you deactivate cheats, if that kind of thing interests you. Youtube will provide answers for the specifics on that one.

Or, you're looking into things far too much

Hedgehogs are exclusively metal. These wouldn't stop armor outside of the portable gatling guns. They are very far from being the same thing. Therefore, one cannot question them as if they are.
