My answer to that is, Landon has killed people and took part in infamous gun fights in relatively recent memory. Why would people in town be talking about events that happened at the earliest 19 years ago (1899), to at latest 34 years ago? Red overall didn't do much asides from assassinate a rogue governor and kill some outlaws, which asides the governor, most of what he did was a common occurrence. You could argue about the gunfighting competition, but my answer to that is, how often to people irl talk about a sports event from 19-34 years ago? Without looking it up, can you tell me who won the 1999 SuperBowl?
Also, without looking it up, can you tell me the last time a senator or governor was assassinated? How often do you hear people talk about that senator was assassinated?
The events had to have happened. The story is pretty consistent with the retellings. John was originally going to be Reds son. You have all sorts of NPCs referencing the events or him. Like uncle saying he was once called the one shot kid. Which makes sense. Uncle would have been around and heard the stories of Red and his nickname and stole it to make himself seem more important. You can find Twin rocks, which confirms that the locations are real. If Twin rocks is, I don't see why Brimstone and other places wouldn't be either.
The Icons of the west even back then, got warped and the facts was lost along the way pretty quickly. Wild bill, even when he was alive, there was outlandish stories about him. Or like when Wyatt Earp somehow was bulletproof and managed to somehow not get shot numerous times at point blank range and killed curly bill and most of his gang single handedly while wading through a river.
I grew up playing red dead revolver. Red Harlow was born right around the time of the Civil war. The game takes place in 1880. For simplicity sake, let's say Red was born in 1860. He would be 49 by Red Dead Redemption 2. Uncle was born around 1849. Just the age range and dates alone pretty much confirms Red isn't uncle. Anyone that's played Revolver knows it's not anywhere near reds personality to become uncle. He's pretty much Clint Eastwood from the Dollars Trilogy. I've always found the uncle is red Harlow theory to be extremely odd.
also for those of you who don't know, The events of Revolver happened, however not like the game depicts them. The game is the mythical version, the campfire retelling that's been warped and changed throughout the years to the point its something you would find in one of Jacks stories.
Another fun fact. Is in early drafts of Red Dead Redemption 1. John was supposed to be Reds son. You can see a resemblance with the scars and the early showings of his face before launch. John also was supposed to be much younger.
Reds fate is probably retired off in a ranch or homestead somewhere and got to live the life John was supposed to live
Grizzlies. Preferably near colter. Bounty hunter or just a hunter. Quiet. Isolated, and generally too out of the way and uninhabitable for gangs. The few who wander in, can be shot and bounties on them can be collected
I have played the games myself. The only improvements is the fact it's in a New Engine. Outside of that, there is no improvements. The few tweaks like the GTA V style weapon wheel has been a mod in the original games for a decade now.
They literally just took the code, put it through The new engine, and had an AI do 99 percent of the work. They even somehow accidentally included the hot coffee code and cut content into the game by accident. They didn't even give a shit enough to play test or check their work
These videos I'm referring to will go into painstaking detail to show you the differences between the two versions. It's not just "lol GTA definitive edition bad". These go into a technical level to show you. HIGHLY respected members of the rockstar community might I add.

Yeah, and at launch the game played like absolute ass. The games even now, play like absolute ass and are buggy as fuck and unoptimized.
There is literal countless videos showing just how inferior of a version the Defective Edition is to the originals.

^ working hard on something doesn't guarantee something will be good. Im sure Grove Street games worked hard. Look how that fucking turned out. When your creative talent is leaving all at once like rats on a sinking ship, something bad is going on. I don't think a game where the top creative talent just abruptly leaves during or right before production has ever worked out in the end.
It's their own doing too. GTA 6 will never live up to the 10+ year hype.
If the games good the game Is good. But I see nothing from this company in the last 5 years that gives me any sign that it is going to be. I mean their own CEO said two years ago rockstar is above and beyond just making a simple port of their games. Then not even two years later, make a simple port of GTA 5 on current gen, and these basic ass RDR1 ports on Switch and PS4. I mean to his credit though, the GTA Shit edition wasn't just a simple port, it was an unmitigated disaster and embarrassment.

The disappointing RDR1 port recently. Didn't even fucking put it on PC or PS5.
The ceaseless attacks on the modding community
Allowing hackers an modders to have a fuckin free for all on RDO and GTA online.
Abandoning DLC for RDR2
The creative talent that made Rockstar who they are, are now gone.
The laundry list of anti consumer practices just in the past 5 years

That's great, until you remember pretty much all of the creative talent that made RDR2 such a good game is now long gone. GTA 6 will be a test to see how much the new people can handle a story like we expect.
Based off the last 5 years of Cockstars bullshit. I doubt GTA 6 and RDR3 will live up to the hype. And will show that Rockstar are no longer the Rockstars of the industry anymore. More like a decrepit rockstar in his 80s who still thinks he's in his prime, when in reality hes a shell of what he once was, and the golden years aren't coming back.

Rockstars last game was 5 years ago. Since, they have lost tons of creative talent, have released garbage bullshit like the defective edition, awful GTA online expansions, Killed Red Dead Online and abandoned RDR2 singleplayer. And have even been called out recently by former workers, my favorite was the creator of the series saying they've went "full fuckers mode". The current state of GTA online speaks for itself really. This isn't the 2001-2013 rockstar, it isn't even the 2018 rockstar. This is The new EA era of Rockstar. Will GTA 6 be a success? Financially, yes, critically no. They've pretty much confirmed it's going to be a live service game and will definitely have micro transactions.
I can't wait to see the GTA 6 train wreck
It's disappointment really. When you've been playing their games since a kid, and gave you staples of your childhood like Vice City and San Andreas. You know this company is capable of so much more, but they got greedy, and treat the People who's been with them since fhe begining like shit. They act like literal rockstars. Even the man who made the GTA series utterly despises them . They DMCA'd him for showing 30 year old assets for GTA 1&2. THE CREATOR OF THE SERIES. When your own founder calls you Scumfuckers for the way you're acting. That's pretty bad.

Oh it was extremely rushed. You was supposed to go to Mexico. Entire areas was cut out, like Ambarino being much bigger. THE ENTIRE ISLAND OF GURAMA. Cut love interest, cut side missions, cut missions, cut Easter eggs, cut storylines like Arthur's wife and son dying as they flee to colter, all the voice lines for it are there, also the model they made for eliza is used for the bathhouse hookers and Arthur was supposed to be extremely angry the entire first chapter to the point where when you go out to find John with javier, Javier is scared of you and talks about their passing. Arthur was originally going to be far meaner, cold hearted and sadistic. I believe sadie was included pretty last minute. She does virtually nothing the first 5 chapters. Has no character depth compared to all the other characters. The epilogue was included last minute because of fan expectations.
I don't believe New Austin was added last minute, they have unique voice lines, real early voice work, for Arthur and the bounty hunters and shit. Some files are early as 2015. If they added it last minute, they wouldn't have recorded dialogue for Arthur and cutscenes with Arthur like the dinosaur bones shit. Journal entries, etc.
I do believe we would have gotten all this content had the producers understood what priorities are.
They went to the trouble have having people work on temperature dependent horse testicles for example, a detail no one asked for, and could have used those people to finish guarma.
It's a masterpiece, but a husk of something that could have been more than a masterpiece. Sadly it will probably be the last good thing to come out of Rockstar. This was the final game to have all of their creative talent that made Rockstar who they are. And now they've left. And what have we got since? Awful GTA online content, GTA +, removing content from GTA online, Killing RDO, GTA the Defective edition (so bad it killed the GTA 4 remaster and RDR1 remaster).
There are rumors of that RDR1 remaster, and like GTA 6 if it ever comes out, I'm gonna let others be the guinea pig. I just wonder if the trailers will show how blatantly bad they will be like the defective edition did. I feel like the RDR1 remaster if it's real, will be a steaming pile of shit. And GTA 6 will be a commercial success, but a godawful Critical Failure. I'm expecting the worst. I have no hope, faith, or trust in this manipulative godawful studio anymore. I was so happy when they got hacked. It was a proverbial curbstomp, a reality check they needed after treating us like shit for years. It was so nice watching these Scumfucks squirm for once. They deserved the hacks. And so much more.
