I sit writing this watching the end credits for Red Dead 1. I’ve just finished the game for the first time and hunted down Ross. It makes me realise how this whole series is a masterpiece, and playing Red Dead 2 before Red Dead 1 makes it even more special. Seeing the gang fall apart, and Arthur make his huge sacrifice for John’s future, only for John to get killed and for Uncle and Abi to get killed too. It’s made me so sad that everything was destroyed in the end. No happy ending, no happy families, just Jack, alone, after everybody dies. Man, this series is so special. Anyone feel the same?

I absolutely LOVE Red Dead 2 and it is my favourite game ever made. On every level it is an absolute triumph. I love it so much that I want to replay it with my dad. However, my dad doesn’t play games much, only plays a bit of Mario Kart and Beat Saber, so I need to know how easy is Red Dead 2 for non gamers? I’ve been a gamer my whole life so it came pretty naturally to me, but what is it like for somebody like my dad?

Going from red dead 2 to red dead 1 I’ve noticed the horse speed is ridiculously fast. Does anyone have any ideas on why the horses are so fast? Is it a bug?
