So it was during my first play through and I go to visit Arthur’s grave after just getting through the annoying part of pronghorn ranch. This big bird come out of nowhere and flies around the gravestone. I was looking for feathers so I shoot at it, but regardless of any dead eye markers or anything the bird doesn’t even take a hit. It annoyed me at first but looking back on it I wonder if it was supposed to be symbolic of Arthur’s spirit since I was right next to his grave. Could have been a glitch though. I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else?
What's on your mind?

I know halloween has come and gone but i need theory's on the strange man
No wrong answers!
If you played rdr1, you know that jack's family has been killed. but what happens after jack avenges ross? if r* decides to make rdr3, we may have the possibility of finding out what jack does. i think that he may get married and have a family of his own, although that may be a bit too far. some say that he committed suicide because he felt like he had nothing to live for anymore. but if rdr3 happens, i hope that we get to play as young adult jack and when his eventual death arrives, we will get to play as one of his children.
What do you think?
More specifically I believe that the Nightstalkers might be the Night Folks deities or demons who have been summoned into the physical plain by the Night Folks voodoo rituals.
The area where you can find the giant snake known as pleasance you can notice the odd symbols and references to satanism and signs of plague i think the snake is either unfinished guarma easter egg or a reference to the snake in the bible.
Hello everyone, this is my first post of this wiki. I myself do not play GTA, but I have played Red Dead Redemption and my brother plays GTA. In GTA, when you walk into Franklin’s house, you can find a book on the bookshelf called Red Dead - J. Marston.
This obviously connects to Jack Marston, and it’s such a cool Easter egg! Not only does this mean that Jack pursues his dream of writing, but he even possibly turns out okay after the events of Red Dead Redemption 1. I think this may be a collection of narratives and entries from Arthur’s journal, along with Jack’s experiences in RDR1. My personal canon for Jack is that after a couple years of gunslinging (and hopefully killing Ross), he finally settles down and begins writing his book. After publishing the book, he leaves his past behind and lives a life in peace, something his father and Arthur would want for him.
The mural that Francis Sinclair put together seems to have been inspired by Diego Rivera’s painting, Man, Controller of the Universe, which illustrates the aspects of contemporary social and scientific culture of the 1930s. But the similarities end there; both works depict different themes.
I'm not going to explain in full depth Diego Rivera's mural, this is not what my theory is about, but what I am going to clarify is the interesting similarities between the story of "Man, Controller of the Universe" and Francis Sinclair's mural.
Similarities:
Diego Rivera painted an unfinished "Man at the Crossroads" in 1933 for the 30 Rockefeller Plaza, in New York City. But he then ran into problems with John D. Rockefeller Jr. (politics). After that John D. Rockefeller Jr. ordered the mural to be removed/destroyed. Then in 1934, Diego Rivera repainted his original vision under the new name of "Man, Controller of the Universe" in Mexico City.
Francis Sinclair completed the mural in 1899/1907. When he went to Strawberry to reveal his discovery and theory, he was then dismissed by Church officials because they believed that his work could spread heretical beliefs into their community, similar to how John D. Rockefeller Jr. did not authorize Diego Rivera's painting because of his beliefs. The man depicted at the center of the mural bears some resemblance to Francis Sinclair. And the fact that there are 2 versions of RDR2's mural may also be a nod to Diego Rivera's original mural. Additionally, Francis Sinclair's hair color is supposed to be blond, not ginger, just like the man depicted in the painting, and both characters also share the same eye color (blue).
Shared Elements:
1. Machinery (Clock wheels).
2. Enormous figure at the center that divides the mural in half.
3. Atoms.
4. The cosmos.
5. Microcosm (Double helix).
6. War (Soldiers and plane).
7. New York City.
8. Technological advances
Conclusion:
Even though all of this seems to line up flawlessly, this is only a theory, not confirmed facts. I am currently working on a theory that explains why Francis Sinclair's design was changed to an Epsilon-themed one. And it is also tied to Isabeau Katherina Zinsmeister.
In a random camp encounter in the area a woman audibly shivering asks to rest at your fire before talking about butchers creek being cursed, they're immediately downstream from Elysian pool and their meat must be mangy
Feels like this is worth noting as a connection to this place, I really wish there was someone we could talk to/something we could do, ever the incomplete game ofc -_-
It's nice to see it brand new. And it is also nice to see R*'s attention to detail.
This makes my theory on Geology for Beginners more plausible.
When we first meet Francis near Strawberry, he seems to be very enthusiastic about the rock carvings, stating that those carvings are "sort of important" to him. He also mentions that he's lost and that it's a long story. My theory is that he had only time traveled once and by accident.
Collecting:
Francis Sinclair's card says that his occupation is collecting, in his case, he collects rock carvings and their information about the past. Since he appears to be obsessed with history, he probably travelled to the 1890s after discovering 2 of the mural's carvings. A newspaper article about Francis' work mentions that he's a local resident in Strawberry, this means that he has been living there for months or even a year using a fake name (Frank Sinclair).
Epsilon Program?:
No, he's not Kraff, the first argument of my theory already disproves that speculation. But he's probably one of the founders of that religion in the HD universe of Redemption. Dan Houser stated that the Epsilon Program can exist in different places and times, using this information we can say that this could be the case. The rock carvings he tries to find were probably made by ancient people like him. Kraff descendants? It's a high possibility because those beings left messages in the shape of rock carvings. To end this argument, Francis Sinclair's mural indicates that he has convinced himself of being a demigod, and intends to solve this mystery by going to different times or universes (we don't know if time travel is the only limitation to his powers) in search of more information about his own race of "special humans".
I'm aware that this has been discussed many times in this community and I completely understand the rules but I have my own arguments against this theory.
Familiar Locations in GTA:
Everyone knows at this point that one of the most repeated arguments is "Both games share locations, Armadillo and Cholla Springs are in Sandy Shores". This might sound convincing but that group of people also ignore the fact that San Andreas State is outside of the United States of America, San Andreas in the HD universe is an island. Figuring out why R* named those avenues Armadillo and Cholla Springs is not a mystery. Red Dead Redemption came out before GTA 5 in 2010, and Grand Senora is a desert like Cholla Springs, simple to understand the reason (Reason: It's a reference). And I'm not counting Strawberry (GTA 5) because that place was named after Darryl Strawberry, who is a baseball player from Crenshaw, Los Angeles (real-life counterpart of that location).
UFOs in Both Worlds:
Another popular argument is that RDR and GTA have extraterrestrial elements, but how is that a solid evidence to begin with? RDR's UFO model is smaller and has a different shape in comparison to GTA 5's models (the black one doesn't count). And UFOs in RDR2 are also a reference to GTA 5, people seem to forget that GTA 5 came out before RDR2, it's obvious that there are going to be references to their previous games.
I found something cool about one of Uncle's lines.
"Oh, you don't build a barn, dumbass. What do you think this is, 1785?"
This could be a reference to an antique barn in Barkcamp State Park, Ohio. It was built from 1785 to 1865 (Major's orders). Remember that Uncle is from Ohio, he had 16 years when it was finished.
Maybe a big coincidence.
1. Francis traveled to the 3D universe, in 1986 (GTA: Vice City).
2. He traveled to the HD, but when the French gave the statue of happiness to the Americans in 1886 (GTA IV).
The license plate is a reference to one of the many times in which Rockstar gave clues about their upcoming games in their latest one:
A. As you all know, the license plate says California instead of Los Santos or Blaine County. In the mission called California of RDR1, there is a character named Sam Odessa (Sam Houser), this character emphasizes a lot that he wants to go to the West (California) and see the ocean. This side quest was basically a hint to the next Rockstar game, GTA 5.
B. You can see that the license plate has a date, 2010. In that year, R * released Red Dead Redemption.
At the end of the game, newspapers say they retreat to Texas. So are they like the New Austin Raiders now?
By 1914 he was left as the last Marston and also the only confirmed survivor of the Van der linde gang at the time. After his trail for revenge took him south of the border to Mexico to kill Ross, he was now without purpose. What do you guys think he went on to do after the story ended
I just wanna say that RDR1 and RDR2 are mentioned in another list by Cracked, this time in the list of the 7 Ways the Pinkertons Became Who They Are. Apart from a few spelling mistakes and one glaring error (RDR1's enemies are not the Pinkertons but rather the Federal Bureau of Investigation), you might find this list enjoyable if you take a look in this link.

After the American Civil War, the dollar became very valuable. In 1899, one dollar was worth $31.22 in today's money. This is funny because beans cost 1$ in game. It also means that the robberies where you can make a million or even just 300 dollars are actually much more profitable than we normally see due to this inflation.
spoilers
When at the start of the epilogue, John only makes $3 in one day at the ranch. I thought this was poor wage originally, but when accounted for the inflation of 1907 3$ is actually worth $82.69 which is pretty good for a day's work.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed this short economics lesson.
