A Better World, A New Friend is a Stranger mission featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Description[]

The player finds posters across the map requesting perfect animal carcasses for use in a Wildlife Art Exhibition. The carcasses are to be sent to Ms. L. Hobbs from a Post Office.

Walkthrough[]

Picking up the first poster will start the first hunting request from a total of 5. The first four are available from Chapter 2, the fifth list and the rest of the mission can only be completed in the Epilogue. These consist of:

Part I[]

After completing all of the hunting requests, the player can visit L. Hobbs at the Taxidermist House. Here, she rewards John Marston with the Squirrel Statue.

Part II[]

Once the player has completed the main storyline in Red Dead Redemption 2, they should place the squirrel atop the fireplace at Beecher's Hope. The statue will disappear multiple times and the player will have to find it. The locations in which the statue can be located are as follows:

  • Chest in John's Bedroom
  • Chimney in John's Bedroom
  • Chest in Uncle's Room
  • Wheelbarrow in the sheep pen
  • Chest in the barn
  • On top of Mount Shann
