Achilles is a minor, deceased character mentioned in Red Dead Online.
History[]
Achilles was a famous horse owned by Mr. John Hepton. One day prior to or during 1898, a traveling farrier with a considerable amount of debt known as Sam Gardener bludgeoned both John Hepton and then Achilles to death in front of multiple witnesses. This would later lead to Sam getting a bounty on his head, and the protagonist is given the choice to capture him and turn him in for his crimes, thus avenging the deaths of Hepton and Achilles.
Trivia[]
- The name "Achilles" appears to be in reference to the mythological Greek warrior of the same name, who died after being shot in the heel.
