Alligator

The Alligator is an animal species featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Description

The alligator is a large reptile endemic to southeastern parts of the map. They are carnivorous apex predators, feeding on fish, birds, amphibians and mammals.

They have the same appearance as a regular alligator; green, scaly skin, a long tail, a large, gaping mouth and eyes protruding from either side of the head.

Despite there size and ability to kill players very quickly, Alligators are extremely easy to kill with a single shot through the head with a rifle as they are very easy to see and only become hostile when in close range to a player

Location

Alligators live in the swamp and river delta regions of Lemoyne in southern Bluewater Marsh and all around Bayou Nwa.

Tips

A rifle will easily kill an alligator, because of its ability to pierce through the animal's tough skin.
Alligator eggs can be sold for a good profit, with each bundle earning around $12.
