Dr. Alphonse Renaud is a minor character and Stranger featured in Red Dead Redemption 2. He gives the player the Stranger side mission "No Good Deed".
History
Background
Dr. Alphonse Renaud is a traveling medical doctor. A gang in Rhodes robs him of his wagon which had all of his medical supplies.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2
He is found sitting near the front of Gray Woolen Mill in Rhodes. After the player greets him, he apologizes for being rude to him and attempts to leave before the player asks him why he's acting strangely. He states that his wagon and medical supplies were stolen by a gang due to his race. The player can then retrieve the wagon the wagon for him by fighting the gang. Once the wagon is returned to him, Alphonse will thank the player repeatedly before leaving.
Before they part, Alphonse asks that if the player ever needs anything, he should find him on his travels and come say hello. Although he says this, he is not found in free roam, and does not appear after "No Good Deed".
