The Andalusian is a horse breed in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. Andalusians tend to have higher health and stamina, but lower speed and acceleration. Its handling gives it moderate reactivity and agility. As a purebred war horse, it is one of the bravest mounts in the game.

Description[]

Andalusians are powerful, compact war horses. They can be identified by their thick mane and tail, strong body and noble head. Both the Dark Bay and Rose Gray coats can be purchased at a stable. This breed of horse is courageous and will not be spooked easily. They handle well, with average Acceleration and Speed, and are known for their good Health and increased Stamina, making them great for long journeys.

Catalogue Description[]

Prized in Spain for their use in bull fights, they are an agile, healthy, elegant, and intelligent breed. The Andalusian has a reputation as an incredible athlete exhibiting a sixth sense around livestock, moving with amazing speed. They are strong yet compact, with long thick tails and manes. Their intelligence can be astonishing at times, which is why they have been a favorite breed among nobility.

The only Andalusian coat that can be acquired for free in Story Mode is the Perlino coat. The horse will be located as soon as Chapter 2 near the first 'R' from Roanoke Ridge (when looking at the map), very close to the waterfall in Brandywine Drop. • Though rare, it's possible for the Perlino Andalusian to accidentally buck itself, and the player off the cliff it is located on while the player is breaking it in. This along with the fact that wolves can spawn in this location as well is why it is recommended for the player to be cautious when trying to obtain this horse.
