The small stream is located on the island of Guarma and runs into the bay known as Bahía de la Paz. Furthermore, it serves as a natural border between the rebel controlled areas of Cinco Torres and La Capilla, and Aguasdulces; the only significant settlement on the island and the headquarters of Alberto Fussar. Slightly south of this area is a small outpost where a few Van der Linde gang members temporarily reside during their exile on the island.
- The stream's name is likely derived from its shape, which is serpent-like. Another possibility is that there are, or used to be, an abundant amount of snakes in the stream.
