Atlas is a character in Red Dead Revolver.
Background
Atlas is a circus strongman (as seen by his picture in the journal) and serves as a bodyguard for Perry. His size an muscle make him slow and he is not known to attack, instead serving a purely defensive role by carrying a massive metal shield.
Interactions
Atlas is a mini-boss in Freak Show. He only attacks if Jack Swift approaches him. He walks around slowly after the player and does nothing. If he gets close to Jack, he will back away and come back again. The player might have to get around him if the player goes behind the burning building and lets Atlas follow. If shot, he raises his shield up to protect himself. Other then that, he does nothing, so he poses a very minor threat. The player can even ignore him and attack Perry, as there is no penalty for doing so. However, he has to be killed in the Bounty Hunter mission. Melee attacks and Grabs do next to nothing to him, and will only get Jack rammed with a shield.

Atlas doesn't talk, except when he is killed, where he will spout out either coughs or he will call Jack a bastard.
Trivia
- He is listed in Sheriff Bartlett's Journal under the Prof. Perry's Peculiarities section.
- He is said to carry a pair of brass knuckles, although these are never seen in the game.
