—Bandito when attacking Red Harlow |
Bandito is a minor character featured in Red Dead Revolver.
This character is not available in Showdown Mode. However, four re-colored models were made for Bandito as seen from the missions he appears in.
History[]
Background[]
Like with most other NPC's in Revolver, Bandito is more of a character type than a single individual. According to his journal entry, Percy Merriweather claims Bandito and two other bandits once robbed the Brimstone Bank, and were notable mostly for their foul stench and bandanas.
Events of Red Dead Revolver[]
Bandito first appears in the opening cutscene of the mission "Tarnation" and several versions of him appear during the mission. In the last cutscene, he, along with Gordon Fowler and Jesse Lynch, challenges Red to a duel in front of the road leading up to the cemetery. He was killed in the duel. Despite his "death" he later appears as one of Mr. Black's goons during the mission "The Cemetery" and also appears in the opening cutscene.
Bandito then appears as a member of Holstein Hal's Gang, hired to kill Annie Stoakes at her own ranch. However, he is killed by Annie.
Lastly, Bandito can be seen shooting at Red from the balcony during the last segment of "Saloon Fight" mission along with multiple Driscoll's and Christina's when the player has to fight Sam. Bandito, like of Sam's men and gals, might be killed by Harlow on the balcony before Red kills Sam himself.

Trivia[]

- He shares some of his quotes with Juan Sanchez and the same voice.
- He was voiced by Emilio Delgado.
- Bandito wears a Mexican poncho over his torso, which is noticeably larger than Navarro brothers' sleeveless poncho.
- In the beta stages of the game, Bandito didn't exist yet and instead of him, a character known as "Guarding" used his torso model, all in white and black colors with a skull facepaint and a steel shield.
