Barrel Rider is a location in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Description

At the base of a waterfall in Ambario lay hunks of shattered wood and a broken corpse-- that of an unknown daredevil who perished in an attempt to ride a barrel over the falls and died as a result. The reason why someone would do such a thing, as well as what suffering she endured in the act and its consequences, can only be imagined.

Trivia

  • This location is one of the many points of interest that can be found across the map.
  • This point of interest is likely a reference to the real-life Annie Edson Taylor, the first person to survive a trip over Niagara Falls in a barrel. Unlike her in-game counterpart, Annie survived her stunt with nothing but a small gash on her head, as did a cat who previously made the trip to test the strength of the barrel.
