Bartholomew is a rival bootlegger to Maggie Fike's revived operation. With the help of Danny-Lee, they produce moonshine to get the Braithwaite family in on the business.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2
Bartholomew can be seen alongside his mother and his brothers, Gerald and Gareth, when Arthur Morgan and Hosea Matthews ride to the Braithwaite Manor with some stolen moonshine. When Hosea suggests selling the moonshine somewhere else, Bartholomew threatens to Arthur and Hosea, pointing his shotgun at them and threatening them to hand over the moonshine. Eventually, Catherine lowers his gun and asks him to pay Hosea, in return for giving out the moonshine for free at the saloon in Rhodes.
Later, Bartholomew is seen in a meeting at Braithwaite Manor with Hosea, Sean, and later Arthur, alongside Catherine Braithwaite. Bartholomew stays relatively silent during the discussion, except while insulting Hosea, while Catherine commissions the trio with burning down the Gray family's tobacco fields.
Despite Bartholomew's dialogue displaying Gareth, he does appear where he comes out and confronts Dutch and after a short conversation, Dutch shoots him resulting the shootout. Plus, if you go up to his body, it will be displayed as Bartholomew. These errors have since been fixed.
