The Bastille Saloon is a saloon featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.

It is located in the heart of the modernized city of Saint Denis. It is the most luxurious saloon in Red Dead Redemption 2, and its patrons are mostly aristocrats - with fine accommodation and being the primary saloon of the large city, it competes for being one of the most remarkable saloons in the game.

Description

This lavish saloon is the more popular and upmarket than its run-down and lower-class competitor in the city, Doyle's Tavern. Its patrons are mostly wealthy aristocrats, therefore bar fights and violence is often rare.

In addition to drinks and meals, it offers baths and rooms for the player to rent. It also has a poker table, which can be played for a fee.

According to its review on Kotaku, the saloon is rated 4.5/5 stars - it is the best-rated saloon in the game, due to its calm atmosphere and quality services.

  • When entering the saloon, Lillian Powell can often be encountered raving at patrons.
  • This is the only saloon in the game where whiskey costs $1 and not the usual $0.50. The bartender claims this is because the whiskey is the “real stuff” from Scotland.
