Birds are a category of animals featured in Red Dead Redemption.
Description[]
As with all animals, birds can be hunted. When skinned, birds only provide feathers. Feathers can be sold to merchants and are also required for the stranger mission "Deadalus and Son".

Birds must be killed for two ranks of the single player Sharpshooter Challenges and multiplayer Sharpshooter Challenges.
