Blake is a professional lawman who operates in the New Austin region. His background is otherwise unknown.
Events of Red Dead Redemption[]
Blake can only be encountered if Marston has a high enough bounty, where he will join other lawmen in tracking him down to multiple locations around New Austin.
Events of Undead Nightmare[]
In Undead Nightmare, Blake can be seen fending off the undead outside Fort Mercer when the player brings missing persons to safety. He will be fighting alongside Randolph Knox and an unnamed U.S Army Captain. However, after the missing person has been brought inside the fort, Blake cannot be found. It can be inferred from this that he has developed a fear of strangers due to the presence of the undead and thus hides when he's not needed.

Trivia[]
- His clothing - long duster coat, white shirt, dark vest, flat-brimmed hat, and neckerchief - is similar to the outfits worn by Marshal Stockburn's deputies in the 1985 western film Pale Rider.
- His character model doesn't appear in the lawmen section in the Outfitter.
- The captured criminal during "The Assault on Fort Mercer" wears a similar outfit to Blake, minus the badge.
- Similarly to other lawmen, if the player bribes Blake to get rid of his bounty level near or inside Armadillo, Blake will walk around town with typical NPC movements.
