Chapter Ten of my Red Dead Redemption Adaptation - Blessed are the Meek?
Hello, everybody, and welcome back to my literary adaptation of Red Dead Redemption 2! As of posting this, I have finished every chapter for the "Horseshoe Overlook" part of the story, but I'm just up to posting this (there's about 4-5 chapters left until "Clemens Point"). It's up to this point the story starts to ramp up a little bit in terms of overall plot progression and intensity. This chapter adapts the mission "Blessed are the Meek?" where Arthur saves Micah from the Strawberry Jail about the day after he got drunk with Lenny in Valentine, and the two get involved in a town-killing massacre. I've never been great with translating gunfights from the video game into words, and it sucks that this mission is a massive town-killing gunfig…
Unpopular opinion

Dies ‘redeemed’.
Are you joking, R*?
Chapter Nine of my Red Dead Redemption Adaptation - A Quiet Time
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to my literary adaptation of Red Dead Redemption 2! I haven't posted any new chapters for a wee while now, as I've been quite busy, but I've come back with a new grand piece to add to my collection! Though I wrote this months ago (just posted it now), it was a joy to write and a bit challenging to convey Arthur's drunkenness into literary form. Regardless, for those two or three of you who actually read this, enjoy! For those who don't even know what I'm talking about, here's a little background:
All the way back in 2022, I started this adaptation with the goal of tackling the six missions in the Colter Chapter. After that, I moved on to the Horseshoe Overlook Chapter, and I'm still going (albeit at a slower…
Red Dead Redemption 4?
Assuming RDR3 is gonna finish the story of the Van Der Linde Gang. What kind of stories should the franchise explore in future games?
I personally think it should explore life as a Native fighting against the Government. Play as someone similar to Eagle Flies.
Another story that could be interesting is less of a story and more of a simulator. You play as a Lawman in any town or city and you start at any point in time. If it's a bigger city, you would not start in any high ranks, but if you are the only lawman in a town, you're the sheriff(Which would also put you in charge of stopping crime in the whole county). As time progresses, the town/city will grow, meaning more crime will occur. This will bring up the need to hire deputies. I'd say t…
Chapter Eight of my Red Dead Redemption Adaptation - We Loved Once and True
Hello, everybody, and welcome back to my literary adaptation of Red Dead Redemption 2! I haven't posted any new chapters for a while now, but I definitely think this chapter is a really great one for Arthur's character development and overall story. Now, let's get on with my routine intro-schtick.
If you have been around on this wiki long enough, you likely now about this project. If you haven't read any of these chapters so far, I strongly encourage you do, as it not only helps me with feedback, but it might be fun. You can find all of the previous chapters linked on my profile page. So far, I've posted over a dozen chapters on this wiki since 2022, and it's been quite a fun journey. I've been sort of inactive in terms of writing, so this c…
Chapter Seven of my Red Dead Redemption Adaptation - Paying a Social Call
Hey, everyone. I am back again with Chapter Seven of my Red Dead Redemption 2 Adaptation, this chapter being "Paying a Social Call," where the Van der Linde gang ambush an O'Driscoll hideout after interrogating Kieran Duffy. I'm not going to delve into the background info of my adaptation much, as to returning readers, it's self explanatory. But to those newcomers, I recommend you read previous chapters by clicking on my profile! This adaptation likely isn't going anywhere, and is more of a passion project, but nonetheless, I still love to hear your feedback and responses (lookin' at you, Kid Colt).
One thing I added to this chapter is the first part of "Pouring Forth Oil," which I added as a second "half" of a chapter to tie everything nicel…
Chapter Six of My Red Dead Redemption Adaptation - Exit, Pursued by a Bruised Ego
Welcome back, everybody, to my Red Dead Redemption 2 adaptation! If you have been around on this wiki long enough, or have known me for a while, you likely know about my literary adaptation of Red Dead Redemption 2. I have been working on it on and off since last December, and I have written over 12 chapters so far! This isn't going anywhere, and is more of a passion project, but nonetheless, I still love to hear your feedback and responses! Special thanks to Kid Colt, Russel Mays, and everyone else who's given feedback, helped, and supported me along the way.
Now, if you haven't read my previous chapters, go read them you nincompoop! You can find the links to previous chapters here (for Chapter Five), here (for Chapters 1-4), and here for the …
Chapter Five of My Red Dead Redemption Adaptation - Money Lending and Other Sins
Hello, everyone. If you have been around on this wiki long enough, or have known me long enough, you likely know that I am working on a literary adaptation for Red Dead Redemption 2. If you haven't read any chapters so far, I strongly encourage you read them. I've linked all of the prior chapters in the last blog post I make regarding the adaptation (link to it is here). So far, I have posted ten chapters on this wiki; six of them are part of the "Colter" chapter, while the other four are the beginning chapters of Horseshoe Overlook, up to the rescue of Sean. Altogether, it's a good 200 pages or so- it's a long read. I know y'all don't like reading, but I'm sure it'll pay off because I've worked my socks off for this.

Fixing the Guarma Chapter by Leprechaunlauch as real levels.
The New World is Hell isn't a real mission in Red Dead Redemption 2.

- 6 Mission Failure
After the shipwreck in Guarma, Dutch wakes up Arthur and Micah early in the morning so that they can go out to scout. They cannot waste time; they must get off that island.
This is the first completely custom mission in the Guarma chapter. After completing "Welcome to the New World," a cutscene of Arthur going to sleep is shown, but he is jolted awake by Micah the next morning. The level starts automatically and free-roaming is not possible.
Micah tells Arthur to go see Dutch, who is standing by a cliffside overlooking the creek, deep in thought. The sun has not yet fully risen, and only the first lig…
Fixing the Guarma Chapter
When you ask the average gamer, "What is the worst chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2?" you may get some mixed answers, but the one chapter that will be stated more than the others is Chapter Five, the Guarma chapter. The Guarma Chapter is rather disliked by the community for its very weird position in the storyline and how it fits into the story like an obese passenger on an airplane seat. It is also criticized for underutilizing its main setting: the island of Guarma, along with underutilizing antagonists that had a lot of potential, such as Alberto Fussar and Levi Simon.
What I think the chapter does well is (negating the Ch. 5 missions after Guarma, Fleeting Joy's one of my favorite missions of all time), showing the increasing downfall of…
The Great West Elizabeth Flood Theory

West Elizabeth (known as the Commonwealth of West Elizabeth) is the smallest of the three territories featured in Red Dead Redemption. But from 1898-1899, in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online, it is one of the five American territories, now with an expanded region to the north.
There are two major settlements in West Elizabeth: Blackwater and Strawberry. There are also camps, ranches, and homesteads that dot within the territory.
In 1899 and 1907, it is preceded by Saint Denis in Lemoyne as a place of modernity. Regardless, it's sti…
My Red Dead Redemption Adaptation - Beginning Horseshoe Overlook
If you are relatively active with the wiki discussions, you may have seen me talking about my literary adaptation of Red Dead Redemption II somewhere. If you haven't seen them so far, go read them! I have already posted all six chapters within the "Colter" chapter on this wiki's discussion page. However, as I announced, I am starting to utilize blog posts to post new chapters, now.
I am starting over, going back to chapter one, but this time, we're now in Horseshoe Overlook. In this blog post, I will post the first couple chapters of what I've written, and I myself think it's pretty damn good so far. Here are the chapters I'll have on this blog post, with more to come in future posts. Keep in mind that altogether, this is about 70-80 pages,…
When RDR2 Missions Take Place
Red Dead Redemption 2’s story (not including RDO) spans over the course of eight years, although it primarily takes place in 1899. The only real hints we are given of the specific date is in the first mission of the whole game, “Outlaws from the West,” when Hosea complains about the weather: “This weather… it’s May… I’m just hoping the law got as lost as we did.”
Using this information, I am going to try and map out when missions canonically take place. For more ease, I am going to exclude most side missions. So, without further ado, let’s begin!

- 2 Guarma Chapter
- 3 Beaver Hollow Chapter
- 4 Epilogue
- 5 Regarding Stranger Missions

This page is a list of every single death that takes place during the story mode of Red Dead Redemption II.
Because of how the missions are designed in the game, every single NPC appears every time and is hardly ever randomized. This information took three whole playthroughs to be collected so I hope that it can help this wiki somehow. If anyone has any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to message me somehow and I hope you enjoy reading this!

How I became a fan of the wild west and the Red Dead series
Hey guys,
I've joined this place in August 2022 and I really enjoy being here! Now I write this blog to talk about the way I became a fan of the wild west and the Red Dead games.
How I became interested in the wild west:
I'm from Germany and I hope you guys know the character "Winnetou". If not, Winnetou is a fictional character by the famous German author Karl May. He's a Native American and the chief of the Apache tribe, who fought for justice and peace, helped the good and destroyed the bad. Although the books about Winnetou were released in 1893, they are still very popular today. Unfortunately some crybabies want to forbid these books because they think that they're racist...but that's typical for Germany in 2022. People create problems …
The End of an Era
When I made my first edit, I thought that was it - minor adjustment made, that's all I'd need to do here. I certainly never imagined, or really intended, to have spent so much time here but I guess that's sometimes how things work out. Now, it's been over three years since I became a staff member, and I generally look back on that time on the wiki as productive, enjoyable and worthwhile. Helping to improve pages, discuss various topics and meeting users - many of whom I am pleased to remain in contact with - has been fulfilling and has taught me a lot.
Sadly, my activity has been minimal in recent times and it looks unlikely that I will find the time and motivation to meaningfully return as a full-time editor, and as such it would be approp…
Red Dead is nice series
This is sad that Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption were never released on PC. Luckily, Red Dead Redemption II was. I never expected that I would enjoy this game so greatly but I am glad because of it. However, I wish this game was named Red Dead Nightmare because it is a prequel, not a sequel, to Red Dead Redemption, and title Red Dead Redemption II can be misleading. Anyway, I really like Arthur Morgan but I am very furious with the person who decided to kill him off and replace him with John Marston for the last two chapters. For me this idea was completely irrational and ridiculous. Arthur is a nice guy. Besides, even though I never played Red Dead Redemption, I think that killing off John Marston was a bad idea too. Red Dead Redemption shou…

Cut Content
Hey everyone,
I'd like to make a brief announcement regarding the recent adjustment that was made in regards to cut content on the site.
As most may know, all information related to cut content in Red Dead titles had previously been added to the "Beta releases" page. However, since that spanned across three titles, we recently decided to create separate articles to contain such for the sake of more practical arrangement, as has been done with other information relevant to specific entries. These of course being Red Dead Revolver Cut Content, Red Dead Redemption Cut Content, and Red Dead Redemption 2 Cut Content, respectively. As such, each page can be accessed through its disambiguation navigation article.
So, any information regarding cut co…

I'm confused
So when i go to the spot by the Elysian pool where the camper is supposed to be he is not there neither is his camp. I really want to solve this mystery because alot stands out to me, like if it was a private family trip then how did others find out about it? I've seen that the npc's have a theory that she was murdered, which might sound sensible at first as there are a few serial killers in the game. But when you look at it they only have killed adults why would they kill one child and stop there? when you go to the van horn fence her luggage has two dolls on it one human and one alien, some think she has been abducted or kidnapped, i don't think she was abducted because the aliens bring back the bodies, like the cows they take can be fou…
Hunting in The New Snow Update
So... Due to the new Snow Update for Christmas it snows everywhere, I have had trouble finding animals like Pigs, Boars and Collared Peccaries. Have they all disappeared? Are they just way more rare? what happened?
I have tried to find Pigs and Boars so I can do a daily challenge Where I have to Cook 3 Seasoned Pork. I'd Prefer to hunt for it of course, but if I can't find any I will just have to look at a butcher for some. Can you guys help me? I just want to know if they have disappeared or where you can find them now. Thanks in advance, Merry Christmas Gunslingers!
Brutality
So, I was hunting with a friend of mine. He was at the time trying to get a Perfect Bear Pelt to take to Gus, and be made into a Coat. We we're out there for hours, And despite headshots, Time and Time again. It was never Perfect. Even if it was a 2-3 Star Bear. Eventually, I started getting tired and slightly angered. Me stating my emotions at the time may not seem important but it will play it later.
A pack of wolfs approach while we are on a horse, I take out my Schofield Revolver since I am riding on my friend's Horse. They do as they do, and knock us off. I got slightly annoyed and stabbed a few and shot the rest. One of the Grey Wolfs did survive, looking me in the eyes, Twitching, Bleeding, Whimpering. Being Pissed off, I took my Sch…
Micah Bell and Golden Chances.
[1]
Micah bell has golden chances to prove his betrayal, but he did not do anything that indicates his betrayal
On his return from Guarma, he certainly went to Van Horn's salon and looked shabby in front of the people there. They started asking him where he came from and what his name was! Micah talked he came from the Caribbean and never mentioned Guarma and tell his name (and here's his famous name from his father's name, which was known in most states) there was certainly a spy either a prostitute or a man and he wanted money to tell pinkerton (we noticed how the inhabitants of this city are grumpy and poores want money in any way)

Discord server invite
Hello all,
As some of you may know, we're currently still reeling from the damaged caused by the move to the new "UCP" platform. While it will take time to learn how the new system works, one noticeable change is the removal and/or lack of support for the Discord invite widget we use on the right-hand side of the wiki's rail (or whatever the hell it's called)
As such, if you didn't know already, we have a Discord server, and an invite will be provided below. Right now, we're looking for new server members to help breathe some life into the server and get some decent conversations going.
Anyhoo, here is the link so... enjoy.
Mrs:susan grimshaw and agent milton
The question is / When agent Andrew Milton came to the gang's hideout to arrest Abigail, why did Mrs. Susan not shoot him ?? My theory is that she was busy preparing to leave and Abigail was arrested from the other exit from the cave when she took advantage Dutch get out and stole the key. tilly noticed situation When she was with Jack , a bigail complete her plan of theft, preparing to leave, and cutting off the allegiance of Dutch.so mrs susan not see agent milton and tilly go away without her knowed.

New update is kinda good and kinda bad
The new naturalist update is about studying animals, learning about them, and hunting, HUNTING. If you kill to many animals Harriet insults you and sprays you with something and you pass out and wake up somewhere, then she will refuse to do business with you for a little. But see, here's the thing, the whole update is mostly about hunting, (with the edition of legendary animals in rdo now) just wtf..

A SP may be part of a coordinated set of SPs - a Spawn Area
ie: only one or two of the set will spawn at one time.
A SP spawns once, then must be reset before spawning again.
An animal will never spawn visibly.

Little thoughts on RDR2
After year and a half I still love the game but there are a few things I would like to get off my chest. So without making too much of a fuss I wanted to share some of the stuff that baffles me about this game and doesn’t make much sense. Here’s a couple of interesting points:
- Too many winter clothes when there isn’t much to do up in Grizzlies West.
- Grizzlies West itself, it would probably be ridiculous to put a living settlement in there, but an unique horse, a gun, a Legendary Animal, a Legendary Fish and the Tucker random event simply isn’t enough content for such a big region.
- Again not having much to do in Grizzlies East either. After changing the beta map it just feels more like a linear path with a couple of great views of New Ha…

[CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR RED DEAD REDEMPTION AND RDR2]
Firstly, let me begin by saying this is my first blog, so if it seems more like a ramble than a well put together essay forgive me. Secondly, I don't hate Red Dead Redemption 2. The game, visually and in terms of gameplay, is great. To many people who's first Red Dead game was the 2nd, which appears to be more people on this website everyday, the game is a masterpiece and this is completely understandable. As a standalone experience the game is almost flawless, despite my relative disconnection from it for reasons to be discussed soon. As a fan of Red Dead Redemption since the age of 11, almost a decade ago, the game has been a passion of mine for almost half my life. For years Red Dead Re…
