As with all similar items, the Bloody Rock is not used in the game beyond unlocking a showdown character and journal page. The store description refers to the fact that Sidney "Sissy" Fess likes to throw large rocks at people.

Merchants[]
The Bloody Rock can be purchased from the Shop interface at the start of the mission "Fort Diego". If not purchased, it is not available subsequently during the current game. Sidney Fess can also be unlocked by completing the mission "Rogue Valley" on Bounty Hunter Mode. If obtained in this manner, the Bloody Rock will show as sold in the Shop interface.
