Hey there, cowboy. This article looks a little bit small. I reckon you could impress me by contributing to it. Don't be shy now. |

Boats are a class of vehicles in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.
Description[]

Boats are vehicles designed to travel on water, through the use of sails, oars, or some kind of engine. They come in various sizes and shapes, depending on their purpose.
In Redemption 2, players have some occasions to row small boats such as skiffs and canoes along rivers or lakes, such as the Kamassa River. Other boat models include steamboats, although they are rarely used by the player in story missions. During the storyline, Arthur uses these boats in order to fish or travel by river when it's faster or more convenient than other means: his escape from Sisika Penitentiary with Sadie and John is done by taking a boat. John himself proposes to Abigail on a boat on the lake near Blackwater. There are also several boats that can be used freely outside of missions. They can especially be found near and around docks and water areas throughout the map, such as the Saint Denis docks. If the player paddles or navigates too far away from the bounds of the map, then the boat will sink and the player will immediately jump out of the boat and drown unable to get back onto the boat. Some boats can be shot and will eventually become waterlogged and sink.
Unique Boats[]
The following ships are in the docks or part of a storyline and cannot be used by the player:
- Anna Nash (stationed in Saint Denis)
- Antenor (stationed in Saint Denis; used by the Van der Linde gang to escape the city during "Banking, The Old American Art" and "Lost and Not Quite Found")
- Grand Korrigan (stationed in Saint Denis, appears in "A Fine Night of Debauchery" and "The Noblest of Men, and a Woman")
