Brittlebrush Trawl is a river jetty in Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Red Dead Online in the Hennigan's Stead region of the New Austin territory.
It lies south of Hennigan's Stead, along the San Luis River bordering Mexico.
Background[]
The final mission in the New Austin chapter, "We Shall Be Together in Paradise", begins at this location.
It serves as one of the locations where Marston will need to kill or capture a bounty target in order to get 100% Completion.
Layout[]
It comprises a small shack and dock at the edge of the river. Inside the shack, there is an unusable bed, a nightstand with drawers next to the pillow area, and a drawer near the foot of the bed. A small stove occupies a corner between two windows. Out back a canoe leans on the wall, several crates and a single barrel are scattered about, there's also an outhouse. In the front, fishing equipment litters the whole fishing pier, a single boat is between the porch and the pier, and there is a chest behind the outhouse that contains about $60. The location is a lonely quiet place with not a soul around other than the quacking of the ducks.
Trivia[]
- It is mentioned by civilians in Armadillo that smugglers use Brittlebrush Trawl to transport illegal weapons into Mexico.
- If the player picks up a wanted poster and wears the bounty's respected gang outfit, it is possible to push the bounty target into the water. This may result in the other gang members running away from the area.
- In Red Dead Redemption 2, the location's name is misspelled "Brittlebush" instead of "Brittlebrush".
- In Red Dead Online, Bonnie MacFarlane can give players a delivery mission that requires delivering a package to a client at Brittlebrush Trawl.
