Charlie "Gigolo" Hancock is a minor character featured in Red Dead Revolver.

In Showdown Mode, Charlie's special ability involves filling his gun with a round of flaming ammunition.

History

Background

Charlie is a criminal and member of the Ugly Gang. According to rumor, Charlie was accepted into the gang after shooting a burned-out old gunfighter, who used to be a school teacher, in his sleep.

Charlie had a 25$ bounty on his head.

Events of Red Dead Revolver

Charlie is encountered in the mission "Ugly Streetfight".

After Red Harlow guns down "Whiskey" Treadwell, Charlie comes out of the restaurant, shows the middle finger and attacks Red but is killed as well.

• He is listed in Sheriff Bartlett's Journal under the Ugly Chris' Gang section.
• A "Gigolo" is a slang term for a male prostitute.
• Despite the fact that his journal page describes him as being a coward, Charlie is actually the second-tallest Ugly gang member, right behind Chris Bailey.
• The player may be able to see him though the windows of many buildings as the mission starts, but cannot kill him until he comes out of the restaurant.
• He shares a similar head model as Eli Hanson, the noticeable difference being the teeth.
  • As seen in beta artwork, Charlie was originally supposed to have Eli Hanson's character model and had claws attached to his hands, akin to Grizzly.
• During the mission "Ugly Streetfight", Charlie is armed with Twin Revolvers (possibly to give the player more of a challenge), while he is only equipped with a Six-Shooter in Showdown Mode, like most other Ugly gang members.
• If the player takes too much time on killing him, Hancock will run back into the restaurant and hide until the player kills all the goons (who are recolored versions of Twiggy Phelps) he sends.
• As seen in beta artwork, Hancock and the rest of the Ugly boys were suppose to attack Broken Creek at the beginning of the game.
• If selected as the third player in Showdown, he will wear an orange vest.
