History
Background
Chester Damsen is a singer with a notoriously bad singing voice.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2
Following a tip provided by Alden Carruthers, Arthur Morgan and Josiah Trelawny decide to rob a stagecoach that she is travelling in. After finding her, Trelawny puts on a singing performance and then asks her to do the same. She does so, and with the guards focused on Trelawny, Arthur sneaks to the back of the stagecoach and loots it, before he and Trelawny ride away and share the money.
A newspaper later reports that she has been robbed.

Trivia
- Chester may be based on amateur soprano singer Florence Foster Jenkins. Florence was both mocked and renowned as the world's worst opera singer, all the while seemingly oblivious to her own poor singing abilities and completely convinced of having talent.
- She can be killed optionally in "Friends in Very Low Places" if the player decides to attack her stagecoach directly, instead of going along with Trelawny's charade.
