The Civil War Knife is a weapon featured in Red Dead Redemption 2. It cannot be customized.
Description[]
An old Trench Knife with a solid blade, worn wooden handle and large D-Shaped handguard for protection. This weapon was commonly used by Civil War soldiers, and is covered in rust.[1]
Acquisition[]
This knife can be found atop a crate in the storage room underneath the small building to the right of the entrance at Fort Brennand in Roanoke Ridge.
Trivia[]
- This weapon somewhat resembles a trench knife, which was used by American soldiers in the first World War.
- Its function in the game is purely aesthetical, as its stats differ nothing from any other knives in the inventory.
- For unknown reasons, it is never used by the player when skinning an animal or splitting bullet points, being automatically swapped back to the Hunting Knife instead.
