Clarence Brewer is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption.
History[]
Background[]
Clarence works for the Southwestern Railroad Company judging from his outfit, which provides rail service throughout New Austin and West Elizabeth. However, unlike other employees, Clarence is never seen working at any of the railroad stations. Instead, he seems to spend most of his time hanging around Benedict Point where he apparently lives. Thus his role in the company is not known.
Events of Red Dead Redemption[]
Clarence can most often be found at Benedict Point around the tables or in the shack that Moses Forth was kept in and he tends to sleep there at night or cook on the stove. However, he has been known to frequent Rathskeller Fork to compete in Horseshoes. If the player tries to rob him, he will take out a gun and start firing at them. He can also be found watching the train arrive at the station at Benedict Point.
Trivia[]
- Clarence's blue outfit appears to be the uniform for Southwestern Railroad Company employees, as other men who work at the company's train stations wear it as well. However, unlike the other workers (minus Stanley Riddick), Clarence does not wear the typical cap nor does he ever appear on the trains, assuming he holds a higher position in the organization.
- He shares the same character head with Kurt Lauterback, Ira Shelton, Walter McAllum and Baxter Deaton.
