Cleet is a minor character and antagonist in Red Dead Redemption 2. He is also briefly mentioned by Joe in Red Dead Online.

History

Not much is known about Cleet other than at some point before the events of the game, Micah Bell met Cleet somewhere and they became affiliates.

Events of Red Dead Redemption 2

Beaver Hollow chapter

Cleet and Joe are introduced by Micah in the mission My Last Boy. He then plays a large role in the gang's last robbery, being one of the few to jump aboard the train, and helps fight off the army when it begins to attack. After Arthur and John confront Dutch, Micah, Cleet, Bill, Javier and Joe, the Pinkertons descend upon the camp, with the larger group being the first to flee. Cleet is later seen riding with Dutch, Joe and Micah, attempting to hunt down Arthur and John.

Epilogue

After the Van der Linde gang disbands, Micah forms a new group with Cleet and Joe.

Cleet and Micah have a falling out in 1907, after Cleet disagrees with Micah's decision to kill a child. Micah tries to kill him for his insubordination, so he flees to the town of Strawberry. The resulting visibility causes him to be found by Sadie Adler, Charles Smith, and John Marston, who interrogate him for Micah's whereabouts. Under the threat of hanging, Cleet tells them that Micah is hiding out at Mount Hagen and tries to convince them that he is "one of the good guys." John can choose to hang him or spare his life, though he is shot by Sadie if spared.

Appearance

Cleet is a very skinny man with a "rat face" as Sadie and others call it. He also has dark brown hair in a comb over type style over his almost bald head.

Trivia

• Cleet never speaks during a cutscene; he shares this distinction with Joe, although unlike him, he has several lines in both of his appearances. Both can also be interacted with around camp, between the missions My Last Boy and Our Best Selves, although they will only either sit at the table near Dutch's tent or lay on the nearby bedrolls.
