Cover Scent Lotion is an item found in Red Dead Redemption 2. It can be crafted, or purchased from the Trapper.
There also exists Opened Cover Scent Lotion, which can only be obtained by looting. It has less duration than regular lotion.
When this lotion is used, the "scent lines" coming off the player's body in Eagle Eye mode will be reduced in length, indicating the reduced animal detection.
Cover Scent Lotion cannot be crafted in Red Dead Online.
