LaFlamme is a well-known stunt artist operating in the southern United States. At some point during or before 1898, she began planning a stunt in which she would ride over Donner Falls in just a barrel.

Posters advertising her stunt can also be found in 1899. Additionally, LaFlamme's corpse marks a Point of Interest that can be discovered at Donner Falls. The protagonist will make a journal entry upon inspecting it
