Do Not Seek Absolution I is a mission in Red Dead Redemption 2. This mission can be completed in both Chapter 5 and Chapter 6. It will not be available if Arthur has low Honor.
Mission Overview[]
Edith Downes tells Arthur that her son, Archie, is working at the Annesburg Mine. Arthur heads to the mine, to find Archie being goaded by the foreman, Mr. Dockery.
Story[]
Arthur arrives at the mine in Annesburg, and finds the miners tormenting Archie Downes. Arthur threatens the men, telling them to leave Archie alone. The foreman, Mr. Dockery, quickly becomes irritated, and confronts Arthur. After shouting at Arthur to leave, which comes to no avail, he and a fellow miner engage in a fistfight with Arthur.
Arthur defeats the two men in the brawl, and threatens the others by saying he will fight anybody else who wishes to bully Archie. He condescends the miners, shaming them for victimizing a young boy, and sends Archie away on a horse.
