Ennis is a supporting character featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.
He served as the mount of Sean MacGuire throughout 1899.

Background[]
Not much is known about Ennis prior to Sean's rescue in Blackwater, though it seems the two had already shared a bond together prior to that point.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2[]
Horseshoe Overlook Chapter[]
Ennis cannot be seen until after the rescue of Sean, in which he will appear in the Van der Linde gang's camp at Horseshoe Overlook. He is not seen being ridden by Sean until "Pouring Forth Oil IV", where he will respond to Sean’s call and help him escape the law following a shootout.
Clemens Point Chapter[]
He is then seen again after the gang's relocation to Clemens Point, where he will stay until an optional home robbery where he and Sean will ride to and from Lonnie's Shack alongside Arthur and his horse, an optional stagecoach robbery, and "A Short Walk in a Pretty Town", where Sean rides him out alongside Micah, Bill, Brown Jack, and Baylock to discuss some business with the Gray family. Sean dies during this exchange and Ennis is never seen after this, although a horse greatly resembling him can be purchased at the Tumbleweed Stable by John in 1907 or bought in Red Dead Online.

Personality[]
Like other horses, Ennis is skittish and can be unreceptive to being pet at times, however, this is not to any great extent. Sean isn't seen riding Ennis much, but it seems the two share a bond together.
Appearance[]
Ennis is sand-tinted with four white socks featuring black points, a black mouth with a hint of pink, blue eyes, a black mane, and a silver tail.
