Fan Service is a secret achievement/trophy in the Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare DLC pack.
In-Game Description[]
"Find and break the mythical Unicorn"
Acquisition[]
The player must complete and attain rank 5 in the "Undead Hunter" challenge before finding the Unicorn. Players can find the unicorn around Diez Coronas and Torquemada.
Unlike the other mythical creatures in Undead Nightmare, the player won't get a warning that there is a mythical creature in the area. From a distance it looks similar to an Hungarian Half-bred but getting up close the player will not only notice the Unicorn's legendary horn on its forehead, but will also see a cloud of butterflies all around it and when it gallops, there's a distinct rainbow-colored trail.

- Any gratuitous content included in some form of entertainment primarily to please a core group of fans is considered fan service.
- Rockstar Games held a Social Club Chat a while before the DLC was released and asked their fans if there was anything they would like placed in the game; the Unicorn was popular in demand so Rockstar decided to put it in the game which is the reason for it being called "fan service."
