Farmer MacGuffin is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption.
Background[]
Farmer MacGuffin is the owner of Ridgewood Farm whose daughter is kidnapped by bandits and held hostage at Fort Mercer during the Outlaws to the End co-op mission "The Kidnapped Girl". Rather than pay the large ransom likely demanded for her safe return, he outright asks the players to rescue her.
Interactions[]
MacGuffin can be found at the Ridgewood Farm's farmhouse where he will usually be writing in a journal or reading in his office on the second floor. At night, he will either go to sleep in the first bedroom on the second floor or drink coffee from his jug he has near his bed.
If the player decides to do the Horsebreaking at Ridgewood's, MacGuffin will be the one to accompany him to the corral and the barn afterwards.
