During the events of Red Dead Redemption 2, this location is home to Deborah MacGuiness, an amateur paleontologist who asks the protagonist for a series of dinosaur bones.
Upon mailing in all 30 locations, the player is invited to her homestead and receives the Jawbone Knife as a reward.

Firwood Rise is a simple homestead set in the middle of the property, featuring a barn on the right and a small outhouse located on the left.

- If the player visits the homestead before collecting the dinosaur bones, Deborah can be heard laughing maniacally inside the barn.
