Background[]
Nothing is known of Friday's background, except that he is a worker. At one point he had a son named Ambrose, who tragically died in infancy and is buried at Blackwater cemetery.

Friday can often be found around Plainview and the Pacific Union Railroad Camp, doing a variety of odd jobs. Like most hired workers, he carries a gun and is not afraid to use it in self-defense.
Friday witnesses John Marston, Edgar Ross and Archer Fordham drive through Blackwater in an armored truck during the mission "And You Will Know The Truth". He and other onlookers are astounded at the sight of it.

- He wears the same outfit as Jacques Billeray. The only difference is his hat.
- Friday shares a character head with Lester Stillman, Jonas Crawford, Fletcher King and Cleveland Sharp.
