Gareth Braithwaite is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.
History
Background
Gareth was born in an unknown year to Catherine Braithwaite. He is a member of the wealthy Braithwaite family.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2
Along with his mother Catherine and his brothers Bartholomew and Gerald, Gareth can be seen threatening Hosea and Arthur as they ride into the Braithwaite Manor grounds with some stolen moonshine.
Gareth is present during the Van der Linde gang's assault on the Braithwaite Manor, although he appears twice. He first appears at the entrance, warning Dutch to leave before being shot dead by him, and then again in Catherine's bedroom, where he is gunned down by either Arthur or John.

Trivia
- Given that Gareth appears twice during the assault on the Braithwaite Manor and Bartholomew is absent, it is highly likely that one of Gareth's appearances is supposed to be Bartholomew, and that it is simply a developer oversight.
- This has since been fixed as Bartholomew now appears at the entrance, warning Dutch to leave before being shot by him.
