Gold bullion given to Lieutenant General John J. Garrison.

–In-game description

Garrison's Gold is an item found in Red Dead Redemption.

There is no use for it, other than to sell it for $300.

Note: prices listed on this page are based upon the player having neutral honor and playing the game on Normal difficulty. If the player has high honor, the selling price will be Increased by 50% everywhere except Thieves' Landing. Low Honor decreases selling price by 50% everywhere except Thieves' Landing. While playing the game on Hardcore difficulty, money is more scarce and the base, neutral honor price of each item will be slightly lower.

Gold bullion can be sold at the Blackwater Doctor's Office for full price.

The treasure can be found north of Agave Viejo on a ledge on the north side of the cliffs to the north of the settlement, during the Treasure Hunter Challenge.

The name of the gold is likely a nod at abolitionist and creator of the abolitionist newspaper William Lloyd Garrison, a key figure in the Civil War era.
