The Goose is a species of animal found in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Description[]
Geese are brown and white waterfowl that are found in the grasslands of The Heartlands and Lemoyne. When killed and skinned, the player can receive their plump meat and feathers. Their meat can be cooked and eaten, and their feathers can be used in crafting. The best weapon for killing geese is the Varmint Rifle.
Location[]
The goose can be found primarily around Emerald Ranch in The Heartlands. Another clump of geese is usually at the mouth of the Dakota River near Bard's Crossing. They can also simply be found flying and honking anywhere in New Hanover and West Elizabeth.
Tips[]
- Geese, along with ducks, are one of the quickest ways to obtain animal fat for crafting ammo, because they usualy spawn in large numbers and are easier to kill than bears or boars. Also, the feathers and game acquired alongside when looking for fat can render a good amount of cash and resources for the player.

The Canada Goose inhabits grasslands of New Hanover and Lemoyne. They are primarily herbivores, grazing on grasses and grains, but they will also eat small fishes and insects. The Varmint Rifle is considered the be the best for hunting geese of this size. Their plump meat is a good source of food, and their feathers can be used for crafting.
