Gray's Secret is a point of interest in Red Dead Redemption 2.
It is only accessible after completion of the mission "Horse Flesh for Dinner".
Description[]
Found on the porch at Caliga Hall, Gray's Secret is the corpse of Tavish Gray. He committed suicide after a letter (which can be found next to him) from an Edinburgh University historian, Malcolm Moffat, revealing that his ancestor, Ross Gray, was not an exiled Jacobite as previously believed, but a spy for the Duke of Cumberland.
Gallery[]
Arthur's drawing: "Well, well, well. Guess the Gray family ain't quite the proud noble Southern patriots they pretended to be."
Trivia[]
- Unlike the Braithwaites' Secret, which can change overtime if not discovered by Arthur before the epilogue, Tavish Gray's corpse will not change even if it is discovered by Arthur and then revisited years later by John: it will shown no signs of putrefaction, and no Gray guard or laborer will have dared to touch or remove it from sight for a proper burial.
- It is the only point of interest to need a specific mission to be completed before being discoverable.
- If the player picks up the letter and is shot at the same time they will glitch and not be able to get the Point of Interest.
