Gwydion is a supporting character featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.
He served as the mount of Josiah Trelawny throughout 1899.

Background[]
It is unknown for how long Trelawny had Gwydion, though it seems the two had bonded prior to his first appearance.

Horseshoe Overlook Chapter[]
Gwydion can be seen in camp following “Polite Society, Valentine Style”, although he is not ridden by Trelawny until “The First Shall be the Last”. During this mission, Trelawny rides him down to save Sean MacGuire, though he departs on him after creating a distraction.
Clemens Point Chapter[]
Following the gang’s relocation to Clemens Point, Trelawny goes missing and Gwydion is nowhere to be found until his rescue. After this, Trelawny takes him alongside Arthur and his horse into Rhodes, where they get a tip about a stagecoach. The four ride off to rob the stage, and after doing so Trelawny and Gwydion head off once more.
Beaver Hollow Chapter[]
Trelawny decides to depart from the gang after they headed to Beaver Hollow, and he and Gwydion are never seen again after this, though a horse greatly resembling Gwydion can be purchased at the Tumbleweed Stable by John Marston in 1907 and in Red Dead Online.

Gwydion can get a bit skittish, but he is otherwise docile and it seems he and Trelawny have a good bond together.
Appearance[]
He has brown legs, and a brown belly and face. His mane is brownish-white, and his tail is brown. His back and haunches are white with brown spots and his hooves as well as his eyes are also brown.
