Hanz is the proprietor of the saloon in Brimstone. He has a brother, Fred, who is the proprietor of the saloon in Widow's Patch.

Hanz can be encountered operating his saloon in Brimstone. After entering the saloon, Red Harlow can purchase his wares.
During the mission "Saloon Fight", a brawl breaks out in Hanz's saloon. Rather than get involved, Hanz flees the building.
