Hawks Eye Creek is an unmarked river in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online in the Big Valley region of the West Elizabeth territory.
Description[]
The river is rather rapid and only slows down briefly when it goes through Strawberry. Because of how rapid and shallow the river is, it is impossible to catch any fish in the river, though NPCs can be seen fishing the river near the first bridge in Strawberry.
The river begins near the top of Mount Shann and eventually flows into the Upper Montana River. It lies at the heart of Big Valley, which also passes through the town of Strawberry where there are two bridges over top of it and a water wheel behind Coopers General Store.
Trivia[]
- Near the start of the river, the player can have a Random Encounter with a stranger who challenges them to a Shooting Competition, which can accepted or declined.
- In Red Dead Online the location is one of the possible locations for the Treasure Map challenges.
