Hector Delpuerto is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption.
History[]
Background[]
Nothing is known of Hector's background, although he apparently moves from New Austin to Mexico in search of work and claims to despise the current government of Nuevo Paraíso and the rebellion as well.
Events of Red Dead Redemption[]
Hector can often be found in MacFarlane's Ranch, doing a variety of odd jobs. He can also be found around Armadillo, specifically the saloon or the town, smoking or working. He can frequently be found drinking in the Casa Madrugada cantina as well. However, he has been known to frequent other locations throughout New Austin and Nuevo Paraiso. Sometimes he can be encountered riding on horseback through varies towns in both states.
Hector helps Bonnie MacFarlane and John Marston to secure the animals at MacFarlane’s Ranch in the mission "A Tempest Looms".
Hector makes an appearance during the mission "The Burning", in which he is seen hacking away at the barn doors at MacFarlane's Ranch in an attempt to free the trapped horses.

- He can sometimes be found as a prisoner in the Sheriff's Office at Armadillo. If the player waits for a few, he may even start conversing with the sheriff.
