Oh, darling Abigail, I've changed... come live with me in an outhouse... I wouldn't ask my worst enemy to take a shit in.
Uncle mocking John for buying the rundown ranch.

Home Improvement for Beginners is a mission in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Mission Overview[]

John, Uncle and Charles tear down the derelict shack at Beecher's Hope.

Story[]

The mission is initiated when John joins Uncle and Charles at the campfire just outside of his newly-bought shack on Beecher's Hope. Uncle then confronts John with his pessimistic view of things following the departure of Abigail and Jack, even going so far to call him hopeless before eventually urging him to tear down the shack using some rope and the horses.

Following the demolition, Uncle informs John about a man in Blackwater that can assist them with building a "pre-cut" house. John decides to go and see him alone, leaving Uncle and Charles to watch the area.

Gold Medal Objectives[]
