(Added trivia stating that there's a dialogue mistake as John mentions that they met Tavish' son, the sheriff (Leigh) and Tavish doesn't correct him. This is a dialogue bug, right? From what the pages on the wiki say they're brothers.) Tag: Visual edit |

Hey there, cowboy. This article looks a little bit small. I reckon you could impress me by contributing to it. Don't be shy now. |
Horse Flesh for Dinner is a mission in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Mission overview
To get back at the Braithwaites, Tavish Gray asks Arthur, John and Javier to steal prized horses from Braithwaite Manor that he claims will sell for $5000.
Story
Arthur, John, and Javier ride up to the road leading to the stables, and claim they are coming to inspect the stables, because they are considering investing a considerable amount into it. Although the guard initially refuses, he in the end lets you and you continue to the stables. At the stables, you ask the stable-hand to show you the prized horses, which he in the end he agrees to. Arthur then quickly breaks his neck, and Javier attaches the three prized horses to his own mount. With John leading the way and you bringing up the rear, the three of you fight your way out of the property. One of the horses breaks free and attempts to flee, but Arthur lassos it back. You then approach the horse fence, who buys the horses for seven hundred dollars, significantly smaller than the promised amount.

- Kill the stable hand showing you the horses.
- Catch the stallion within 10 seconds.
