Jackson is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Jackson is a soldier stationed at Fort Wallace, under the command of Colonel Favours.

Events of Red Dead Redemption 2

When Arthur has a coughing fit during negotiations between Rains Fall and Colonel Favours, Favours becomes irritated and orders Jackson to escort Arthur away from him. Jackson guides Arthur to a tent, and offers to give him some water before leaving. In the tent, Arthur overhears two soldiers talking and learns that Favours is planning to court martial Captain Monroe.

Jackson returns and asks Arthur if he is feeling well. After Arthur confirms that he's fine, he leaves the tent and returns to the negotiations with Jackson. Favours then reveals to Captain Monroe that he is going to arrest him for the theft of the vaccines, to which Arthur responds by sneaking up behind Jackson and using him as a hostage, trading him for Monroe. After the Captain's release, Arthur lets Jackson go and rides away with Charles and Monroe, while Jackson and the other soldiers begin shooting at Arthur.

If Jackson is not killed during the aforementioned skirmish, he is later seen guarding Eagle Flies in Fort Wallace.
