Jean Marc Mercier is a character in Red Dead Redemption 2. He is the lieutenant of Mayor Lemieux in Saint Denis.
History
Background
Jean Marc Mercier is a Frenchman, who became a close ally of Henri Lemieux sometime before 1899.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2
Jean Marc is first met at the party at the mayor's house, which Arthur, Dutch, Bill, and Hosea attend.
Arthur will eventually get a letter from the mayor, in which he asks Arthur to come to his mansion for a quest. Jean Marc lets Arthur in, and does the same during the second quest. At the conclusion of both missions, Jean Marc is scrupulous of Lemieux's corruption.
In the mayor's third quest for Arthur, the mayor informs him that Jean Marc plans on spilling dirt on both of them. Arthur will then confront Marc at his house, and knock him unconscious.
