Keane's Saloon is a saloon featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.

It is a relatively small saloon located in the small livestock town of Valentine, in the state of New Hanover.

Description[]

Keane's Saloon offers respite for the weary and drinks for the needy in Valentine.[1] It is operated by it's owner; Ned Keane.

There was a time when Keane's Saloon was packed, loud and full of chatter every night, due to the fact that it was the only saloon in town. Business has dropped drastically since the much larger and popular Smithfield's Saloon opened down the street, but the saloon still offers satisfactory meals and drinks, although there aren't any rooms available to rent. Five Finger Fillet can be played by the player in the saloon at almost anytime.

The following refreshments are sold in the saloon:

Item Cost ($)
Beer (Drink) $0.50
Whiskey (Drink) $0.50
Oatmeal (Meal) $3.00

Interactions[]

Theodore Levin and Jim "Boy" Calloway can be found here, to initiate the stranger-mission "The Noblest of Men, and a Woman".

During "The Sheep and the Goats", Arthur meets Dutch and Strauss in the saloon to have a drink and discuss current events. After Strauss leaves, him and John are captured and held at gunpoint by Leviticus Cornwall's guards to lure out Dutch. After Arthur is able to save the two, a shootout occurs.

After encountering all four gunslingers from "The Noblest of Men, and a Woman" and completing "A Fine Night of Debauchery", the player is able to revisit the saloon to ask Keane about the whereabouts of Calloway.

Trivia[]

  • Uncle can sometimes be encountered in this saloon.
  • Occasionally, Mickey will appear either in or near the saloon.
